Cat Haven
Shenton Park WA, Australia
Cat Haven is a busy, open admission shelter that has been in operation since 1961, taking in over 8000 cats and kittens each year. Operating under the Getting to Zero model, we are proud of being able to save more than 90% of the cats that need our help each year and are constantly striving to do more. We are a finalist in the JetPet Companion Animal Rescue Awards, under the "Outstanding Shelter" category.
Due to the complete refurbishment of our on-site clinic, we are seeking a passionate, friendly vet to join our team! With a new setup, a new manager and a brand new way of working, you’ll be amazed at the scope and quality of care that you’re empowered to provide here at Cat Haven. We perform a wide range of interesting and life-saving surgeries that you rarely get to try in private practice, and we work up complex medical cases to the same degree, if not more so, than many other clinics. We treat a vast majority of cats, and those which we can’t save are decided based on veterinary and behavioural advice rather than cost constraints.
